Hello, Sim god.
Hello, Don!
I wanted to tell you … I think I have it figured out.
Have what figured out?
Why this ‘challenge’ this legacy. Heck, this life even.
Oh really? This I have to hear!
And I love him.
Don’t you love all of them?
Yeah, but… little Tobias here is different. He’s mine. All mine and no one else’s. Well, I mean, Catarina helps look after him, but he came from me, out of me… I can’t explain it…
Most mother’s can’t, either. It’s a hard thing to explain. You look at them and even when they are driving you so crazy, they still fill you with joy. I’m glad you figured that out, Don.
Me, too.
What about the rest of your brood? You all getting along and getting to know one another?
Oh, yeah! I see Nestor, Korey and Jase every day, and take care of Jase while Catarina is at work. He recently had a birthday, though, and is in school now. Like his brothers.
And the others?
I get to see all of them twice a week.
Twice a week! That’s a very generous visitation schedule!
Yes, it is, but you set up the clubs and their mothers don’t mind if they come over after school on Wednesdays and then on Saturdays for a while.
What do you do with them?
Dance, play video games, play on the monkey bars, watch tv… eat whatever yummy things Catarina cooks. A couple of the older ones have expressed interest in a pool in the back yard.
Are you going to install a pool?
If we ever get enough money, sure why not? Some of them will be teenagers soon.
That’s very thoughtful of you, Don.
Thank you. And, my book sales are doing really well right now.
That’s a good thing because so are your babies. You’e got what, now?
Let’s see…. Dina had those other twin boys… Wesley and Cliff… little Guy in the jungles, but they moved to Windenburg… Tobias… 13 at the moment.
And only four who live with you, so you have a LOT of child support right now.
Yeah. But I only missed once, right after the new house. That rough. We spent a couple of days with no electricity.
I did warn you. It might be best if you slowed down on the baby making, though. Maybe just woo hoo the ladies and not Try for Baby any more?
I guess. But I like Try for Baby.
Yes, Don, I know. Most guys do. Now… tell me how the rest of your life is going?
Well, Tobias is growing like a weed.
He’s smart and likes to be read to.
And is very mobile and into everything!
Even Catarina likes him. Isn’t that wonderful?
Yes, Don, it is.
(Note from the Simmer: By the time Tobias is a child, Don is up to Level 9 in Parenting. He really is an awesome Dad. But don’t tell him I said that.)
So, have you given up your Aspiration goals in favor of being a good parent, Don?
No… why do you ask?
Just wondering. I see more of the kids than I do the ladies.
Oh… well, in that case…
You forget her name!?!?
Yeah, see? I was there with some chick named Alejandra Sanchez, but she bailed on me after a little while, so I got to talking with the red-head and… we danced a little, flirted a little. Then the bar closed down and I haven’t heard from her since… but I got a kiss, which put me at 10 Sims Kissed… and already had the 8 Girlfriends.
So what’s next?
Three Golden Dates. I want to do them all with Catarina, though. She’s my wife and she’s stuck with me through all this nonsense , and my commitment issues.
Also, her cats keep dying. I figure a few really memorable date nights might help her through this tough time.
Okay, Don, you can have the 3 Gold Dates with your wife. 🙂
Lastly, there’s this: Who Should Don’s Heir Be? It’s a poll, and current pictures of all eligible sons. I’m going to keep it up for a while, sans traits. It won’t matter because whomever gets the nod will have to change his to fit the challenge anyway.

You’re doing awesome! 3 gold dates and he’s totally done. Oh and I voted!
I think Cliff won the heir poll. LOL. He’s something else, that one.
