Well, I’m back again with an update on Bob, Eliza and their adventures in the tropical paradise of Sulani.

If you’re surprised to be seeing this picture, well, so was Bob. He and Eliza had a pretty distant relationship back home in Willow Creek. We all know that. She’s kind of a neat freak, he’s a slob. She has ambitions of having a huge house and lots of money, and he well… just wants to be known for his pancakes.
Being in Sulani has given them a new appreciation for one another. They hang out more often, talk to one another, and Eliza even helps out at the Pancake Shack.
Then Love Day rolled around…

… they went out on a date, had some drinks, came home… one thing led to another… and Bob rolled up the want to Try for Baby with his wife.
He thought it was the greatest night of his life. The earth moved.
Eliza thought it was mediocre woo-hoo. (sigh) But mediocre or not, the result was this wee little bundle of baby Pancakes, who we decided to name Lorenzo.

Lorenzo changes the dynamic of this family so much. Bob dotes on him. So does Eliza, but Bob… this is a calling for him, being a parent.

And look at him! This is about as close to a smile I’ve yet to see him have! You know, for a Gloomy, Loner sim.
This is just a view of domestic life with Bob Pancakes. He obviously has to do the upkeep on the house so little Lorenzo is safe. And he enjoys to read. And cook, whether its on the grill or in his kitchen, Bob Pancakes can cook!
But mostly, he loves his son. A lot.

The restaurant is doing well, too. Four Stars now and chugging along. Bob is even getting over his fears of both people and the ocean. He helps clear tables, greets people, and tends the bar.
Eliza is now a Food Critic and works mostly from home so she can take care of Lorenzo.
