Last night, I played through 2 weeks of Catchick Box of Chocolates family. The Event Roll is on Monday. Her first one was to Pick Up Someone at Bar. But my first order of business was getting Allie a job, Feather and Beezus into school and getting them some windows, furniture, siding for their house and lights. They were all miserable because they had nothing. The girls were in school all day, and nothing but their smart phones for Fun. No real time to go out and do anything. The principal called to warn them they might fail. I’ve NEVER had a teen sim fail school before. 🙁
I finally sent Allie to the bar and she chose Knight night at the bar. Everyone was dressed in suits of armor. She made several attempts to pick someone up and was successful in hitting up Marcus Flex. He asked her out on a date a couple of days later, however, and they just didn’t hit it off half as well as they did when he was dressed in a suit of armor. He asked her not to call him ever again.
Discouraged, she gave up on the bar scene and went back to the library. There’s a semi-cute librarian working there and while I’m blanking on his name right now, they eventually hook up and she asked him to move in with them. This is a HUGE leap for Allie, given her past relationship fails.
Lacking furniture, electronics or anything else in their house, Allie resorts to the public library for work and fun.

Allie at a party with the Good Timers and Party Haus. She makes it into the Good Timers and meets Marcus Flex. A week later, she runs into him again at the bar ofr Knight Night, and they sort of hit it off. But alas! What starts in dancing and costumes ends in a fizzle. No love for Allie just yet.
She’s making a little money in the Tech Guru career and (as you can see) they finally got a couch. It’s a cheap one. But life in the Catchick household is still tense.
