“I’m not cranky. Just — DUDE! I graduate high school, just applied to the Police Academy, my girlfriend moved in with us… and then Dad drops this bombshell about us being the ‘Founding Family of Newcrest’ and how I’m going to be Mayor when he croaks, and –”

“Yeah, she wants to have most our kids right away, so we can enjoy our elder years together. Mom and Dad worked right through til the end, practically.”
