Don arrived home (such as Riverview was becoming), just in time for Dylan’s high school graduation. It blew his mind! He had spent YEARS in the future, but to Dylan, it had only been a couple of days.
His son was more concerned about the robots and new little sister than he was in his father’s disappearance. Because to him… “Well, Dad, I thought you were just at some girlfriend’s house.”
After the initial settling in, they all went to Dyl’s graduation. Don, Celestia, Loth-bot 1 and Loth-bot 2. So did Corey Erwin, the last woman Don knocked up.
Graduation is over! YES!!!! Of course, Dylan has no clue what he wants to do with his life at this point, but there you have it.
For Celestia, life as a child in the past is… difficult. She finds the long hours at school boring. The things they learn are are so mundane and she already knows most of it anyway. She misses being able to whiz around town on her hoverboard. She does it now, but she has to sneak it, because her dad says she could ‘get caught’ and how would they explain it. People in the past don’t know about time travel.
Or Plumbotics, for that matter. But they will, soon. Don is out to do something worthwhile with his life.
And then there’s Duke, who’s getting too old to sniff out rocks and gems any more. 🙁

Don looks really sharp in that white suit.
